the man sold steel chairs at =500 each on one
first he gains 20% = buy at 500 he had profit
= 500 1%= 500/100 = 5
= 500 20 % = 5 ×20 = 100
= 500 -400 = 100
second chair at 12 %loss
= 5 × 12 = 60 +500 = 560
bought price =400 + 560 = 960
sold prices = 500 ×2 = 1000
the man give profit because the sold price more than bought price
total profit = 1000 - 960 = 40
the man give profit of 40 Rupees
first he gains 20% = buy at 500 he had profit
= 500 1%= 500/100 = 5
= 500 20 % = 5 ×20 = 100
= 500 -400 = 100
second chair at 12 %loss
= 5 × 12 = 60 +500 = 560
bought price =400 + 560 = 960
sold prices = 500 ×2 = 1000
