total - 400+ 1/5x + 1/3x +2/5x

let income =x
then money spent on food=x/3
money spent on house rent=2x/5
money spent on clothes=x/5
left money =400
income x = 400+x/3+2x/5+x/5
x=400+3x+5x+6x/15
x=400+14x/15 x-14x/15=400
15x-14x/15=400
x/15=400
x=400×15=6000RS.
