a man spends 20% of his income on food 10% on cloth and 15% on rent if he saves rupees 16500 then what is monthly income

Let’s say his monthly income is x.

His expenses are:

Rent= 25% of x = .25x

Food= 30% of x = .30x

Other= 20% of x = .20x

Hence his total expense = .25x + .30x. + .20x = .75x.

His saving = Income - expense = x - .75x = .25x

So, .25x =15000

x = 15000 /.25 = 15000×100 / 25 = 60000

Hence Bobby,s monthly income is Rs 60000.
