===============================

A man spends 20% of his income onhouserent, one-fourth ofthe remaining on milk and product etc. he pays ₹120towards house rent

let the total amount be x =
20% of x = 120

                                         =
 \frac{20}{100}  *x = 120

=>x =
 \frac{100*120}{20}

=>x =  600 rs

the total income is 600 rs

remaining money = 600 - 120

                              = 480 rs

he  spends
one-fourth ofthe remaining on milk and product etc

=>
480 *  \frac{1}{4}

=> 120 rs.

therfrorehe spends 120 rs on  milk and product .
