kirtigarg: Since spend is 65%, The savings percentage = 100-65 = 35%
Savings per month is Rs. 525.
35% of X amount is saved = 525
= 525 * 100/35 = 1500

Hence monthly salary = 1500

Given,
A man spends 65% of his salary.
Hence, He saves = (100-65)% = 35%
We know,
35% of his monthly salary = Rs.525
So, His monthly salary = 100/35 * 525
                                     = Rs. 1500

Hence, His monthly salary  = Rs. 1500

A man spends, 65% of his monthly salary.
So, the savings = 100 - 65 = 35%
Thus,
The total monthly salary = 100/35 × 525
                                       = 1500 Rupees
