 Let \: the \: monthly \: salary \:of \:a \:man = Rs\:x

 Amount \: spent \:on \: education \:of \:his

 children = \frac{x}{2}

 Amount \: spent \:on \: household \: expenses

 = \frac{x}{4}

 Savings = Rs\:15000

/* According to the problem given */

 x - \frac{x}{2} - \frac{x}{4} = 15000

 \implies \frac{4x - 2x - x }{4} = 15000

 \implies \frac{x }{4} = 15000

 \implies x = 15000 \times 4

 \implies x = Rs\:60,000

Therefore.,

\footnotesize{Money \: he \: spend \: on \: household = \dfrac{x}{4} }\\

\footnotesize{\implies x - \Big( \dfrac{x}{2} + \dfrac{x}{4} \Big) = Rs. 15,000 }\\

\footnotesize{\implies x - \Big(  \dfrac{2x + x}{4} \Big) = Rs. 15,000 }\\

\footnotesize{\implies x - \dfrac{3x}{4} = Rs. 15,000 }\\
