Concept introduction:

Reaminder money is that money which remains in the hands after spending some of ther total money.

Given:

Here it is given that he spend 10‰ of the money then he loses about 30‰ of the money then the remainder is 1260.

To find:

We have to find how much money had he at first?

Solution:

According to the problem, we assume that the man had x amount money at first.

After spending first 10‰ he have

(x-\frac{x}{10} )\\=\frac{9x}{10}

After loosing 30‰ the remainder the amount left is

(\frac{9x}{10})-[(\frac{9x}{10}  *\frac{30}{100} )]\\=((\frac{9x}{10})-(\frac{27x}{100})\\ =\frac{63x}{100}

\frac{63x}{100} \\=1260

x=2000

Money he had at first is 2000.
