Let the monthly income be x

money spent on rent= 20% x

= x/5

money left after paying rent = x-(x/5)

= 4x/5

other expenses= 75% (4x/5)

= 3x/5

money left in the end= 250 = 4x/5 - 3x/5

=> x/5= 250

=> x = 1250

So, the monthly income of the man is ₹1250.

Hope this helps you ✌️✌️

Answer:

₹1250

Step-by-step explanation:

let the monthly earning of the man is ₹x.

 x -  \frac{20}{100} \times x =  \frac{4x}{5}

then \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \frac{4x}{5}  -  \frac{4x}{5}  \times  \frac{75}{100}  =  \frac{3x}{5}

 \frac{4x}{5}  -  \frac{3x}{5}  =  \frac{x}{5}

 \frac{x}{5}  = 250

x = 250 \times 5 = 1250

Answer=₹1250
