let he had x rupees of money

then

6.25% of x=75
6.25/100*x=75
x=75*100/6.25
x= 1200

Amount the man originally has Rs.1200, if the expenditure is Rs.75 and spent 6.25%

Solution:

Given:

Expenditure amount spent by man = Rs.75

Amount of money substituted to 75 = 6.25%.

Total amount can be taken as X.

6.25% of X = 75

To calculate in percentage it should be divided by 100.

Hence calculating the value we get: \frac{6.25}{100} \times X=75

X = 1200

Hence at 6.25 percent of X that counts to 75 is equal to 1200 is spent by man.
