Given,

t1=2s

t2=2+4

=6s

V=330m/s

We know,

V=2d/t

d1=Vxt/2

=330×2/2

=330m

d2=V×t/2

=330×6/2

=990m

Distance between two cliffs=330+990

=1320m

Given:

t_1=2 s

t_2=4 s

Speed of sound,v=330 m/s

To find:

The distance between cliffs

Solution:

t_1+t_2=2+4

t_1+t_2=6 s

We know that

Distance between two cliffs=x_1+x_2=\frac{v(t_1+t_2)}{2}

Using the formula

Distance between two cliffs

=x_1+x_2=\frac{330\times 6}{2}

=990 m

Hence, the distance between two cliffs=990 m
