a man standing between two parallel walls explodes a cracker.He hears first echo after 2seconds second echo after 4seconds.if sound travels with speed 336metre per second then what is the distance between two walls.​

using basic formula of Distance = speed × time

distance from wall 1 is 336×2 = 672 but we have to half this distance because this distance is first it travels from man to wall then came back so distance is 672÷2 = 336

same in 2nd wall case 336×4 = 1344 and 1344÷2 = 672

now we can calculate total distance .

336 m 672m

wall 1 ।______________man__________। wall 2

now total distance 336+672 = 1008 m or 1.008 km
