The man's angle of inclination from where he stands is 73.30°.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Height of building AB = 40 feet

Man standing away from building BC = 12 feet

We need to find he measure of the man's angle of inclination from where he stands i.e m ∠C

Now We Know that;

tan \angle C = \frac{Opposite \ side}{Adjacent \ side}= \frac{AB}{BC}  = \frac{40}{12}  = 3.33

Now taking Inverse of tan on both side we get;

tan^{-1}(tan \angle C) = tan^{-1} (3.33) = 73.30

m∠ C = 73.30°

Hence the man's angle of inclination from where he stands is 73.30°.
