A man starts moving from a point (1,2,3) along unit vector (i^+2/3j^+2/3k^) and travels 18 metre .Find final position vector

Let co-ordinate of the point up to which it move along y=3x is (h,k)so k=3h---1 distance from origin=h-02+(k-0)2=10h2+k2=10----2put value of h from equation1 in equation 2 we get h=±1,k=±3but acording to equation h,k either be positive both or negative bothfirst consider positive bothso (h,k)=(1,3) for (1,3) if it moves 5 unit parallel to x axis the final position is (6,3)so position vector is (6i^+3k^) for(-1,-3) if it moves 5 unit parallel to x axis the final position is (4,-3)so posotion vector is (4i^-3k^)
