It is given that to cover a certain distance a man takes 2 hours if he walks at a speed of 3km/hr

We will first find out the distance

speed = distance/time

    3 = distance/2

 distance = 3 × 2

                = 6 km

Now, we have to find the time taken if he walks at a speed of 4 km/hr

So, speed = distance/time

        4 = 6/time

time = 6/4

      = 1.5 hour

Hence, the man will take 1.5 hours if he walks at a speed of 4 km/hr

Answer:

1.5 hours

Step-by-step explanation:

Speed = distance / time

3 km/hr = distance /2 hr

Therefore distance = 3 * 2 = 6 km

The same distance is covered with a speed 4 kmph

Time taken to travel = distance / Speed

                                  = 6 km/ 4kmph

                                  = 1.5 hrs
