Given:

A square park with -

  • Side = 35 m

A man covers -

  • 5 rounds around the park

What To Find:

We have to find -

  • The distance the man has covered.

Solution:

To find the distance, let's find the perimeter of the square park.

  • Finding the perimeter.

We know that -

⇒ Perimeter = 4 × side

Substitute the value,

⇒ Perimeter = 4 × 35

Multiply the values,

⇒ Perimeter = 140 m

  • Finding the distance.

We know that -

⇒ Number of rounds = 5

So,

⇒ Distance = 5 × Perimeter

Substitute the values,

⇒ Distance = 5 × 140 m

Multiply 5 with 140,

⇒ Distance = 700 m

Final Answer:

∴ Thus, the distance the man has covered is 700 m.
