Hello Mate!
So, a man threw a mass if 2 kg with velocity of 20 m/s. Since we know that,
Potential Energy = mgh
But we don't have h i.e height so we will find it.
s = ut + ½at²
s = (20)(1) + ½(-10)(1)²
s = 20 - 5 = 15 m
So, potential energy = 2 kg × ( - 10 m/s² ) × 15 m
= - 20 N × 15 m = - 300 J
Hence potential energy is 300 J but against gravity.
Have great future ahead!
