Initial momentum=mu

Given,

Mass=500g=0.5kg

u=10m/s

P=mu

=0.5×10

=5kgm/s

Final momentum=mv

V=0

Final momentum=m×0

=0kgm/s

Answer:

1. Initial momentum is mu=0.5Kg×10m/s=5Kg−m/s

2. At highest point its velocity becomes zero so momentum will slo be zero as momentum p=mass×velocity.
