A man throws a ball of mass 0.5kg vertically upwards with a velocity of 10m/s. what would be its initial velocity. what would be its momentum at highest point of reach.

please give the answer with proper steps. only for science students.

momemtum =force ×velocity
force=ma
you have given intial velocity as 10m/s
acceleration is -10m/s2
force =0.5×10=5N
momentum =5×final velocity
at highest point of reach velocity is equal to zero then momentum is also zero.
