So now,we have to find speed of projection by range formula:-

R=u^2sin2theta/g

80=u^2sin2(45)/g

as we know sin2theta=2sintheta costheta

Therefore,80=u^2 2×1×1/g×root2×root2

80=u^2×2/2g

800=u^2

U=28.28m/s(approx.)

Now,max.height=u^2sin^2(45)/2g

=>800×1/2×10×2

=>800/40

=>20m
