a man throws a ball weighing 400 g in the upward direction with a speed of 16 m/s .... <br />a) what will be its intial momentum <br /><br /> b) what will be its momentum at the highest point of its flight ?​

mass = 400 g = 0.4 kg

initial velocity u = 16 m/s

initial momentum= mu = 0.4× 16

= 6.4 kg m-1 s

at the highest point final velocity v=0m/s

final momentum= mv = 0 kg m-1 s
