number of dices=4

a dice has six sides so probability of one number is=1/6

to get probability of four dices we add its probability four times

hence

probability of 4 dices=(1/6)+(1/6)+(1/6)+(1/6)=4/6

and  probability of same number on two devices will gain by multiplying it 1/2

hence

probability=(4/6).(1/2)=4/12
