Remember that the whole is the sum of its parts.

2/5 + 1/3 + 1/6 = 12/30 + 10/30 + 5/30 = 27/30 = 9/10

This means that the 10 km is the last 1/10 of the journey. If all 10 parts then are 10 km, 10(10) = 100 total km. Hope you like my answer

Let the total length of the journey be 'x' km. the

So, distance travelled by train=2/5x km

Distance travelled by taxi=1/3x

Distance travelled by bus=1/6x

Distance travelled on foot=10 km

ATQ:-

2/5x+1/3x+1/6x+10=x

2/5x+1/3x+1/6x-x+10=0

-1/10x+10=0

10=1/10x

10×10=x

100=x

So, the length of total journey travelled is 100 km
