From A to B ,

Distance of AB=30 km

As the man travelled 30 km towards east then it reaches the point B but as the man again travelled 60 km towards west it will move towards A to reach his final point C

So,

AC=CB-AB=(30+30)km-(30)km=30km

Thus distance of A from C is 30 km

[But distance travelled by the man from A to C is 30km+60km=90km]
