a man travelled 47.1/2km in one day he covered29 1/3km by bus 8 1/3km by horse cart and the remaining distance on foot.how much did he travel on foot

he traveled on foot = 47 1/2 - 29 1/3 - 8 1/3

= 95/2 - 88/3 - 25/3

taking LCM and solving

= (285 - 176 - 50) / 6

= 59/6

= 9 5/6 kms on foot
