Let the total length of his journey be x.

Now, it is given that after travelling 90km, he found that 2/5 of his journey is still left.

It means he had already covered 3/5 of his journey i.e. 90km.

So, \frac{3}{5}\times x = {90}

=> 3x=90×5

=> x= 150km

Hence, total length of his journey is 150km.
