Answer:

20 km

Explanation:

Let the distance of the railway station from the village = x

We know that

Time = \frac{distance}{speed}

According to the question

speed of a man travelled from the village to the railway station = 20km/h

and the speed of man walked back = 5 km/h

Time of the whole journey = 5hr

Now,

\frac{x}{20}\ +\ \frac{x}{5} = 5

\frac{x\ +\ 4x}{20} = 5

5x = 100

x = 20

Hence the distance of the railway station from the village = 20 km
