Answer:

Let the man travels with speed x km/hr

So time taken to cover the distance of 108 km=x108 

If speed increases by 2 km/hr

 Now, speed =x+2

Then time requires to cover 108 km=x+2108 

these two time has difference of 421=29 hour

Therefore , x108−x+2108=29

x(x+2)[108(x+2)−108x]=29

x2+2x108x+216−108x=29

x2+2x216=29

9(x2+2x)=216×2

9x2+18x=432

9x
