speed of the aircraft is twice the average speed of the man for the journey and
the time he was on the ship was thrice the time he was on the train. If the man
travels 10hours by train out of the total travel time of 50 hours, then what is
the total distance covered by the ship?

Answer:

  • lets classsify this into sections
  • we have three sections here air, ship and train

Step-by-step explanation:

air ship train total

distance - 2x x 2400

speed - - - -

time 10 30 10 50

from question we can easily derive this

we know that speed = dis/time

here we have get 48 as total speed

let x be 48 then we can get 480 is distance of train and we all know that ship distance = 2x

ie, 2×480 = 960km
