A man travels 3/8 of his journey by train,3/5 by bus and walks the rest of the distance. If he walks 2m , how much distance travels by bus​

Let the total journey he Travelled was x

So, by train = 3/8 of x

= by train = 3x/8

& by bus = 3/5 of x

= by bus = 3x/5

So, walking = x - (3x/8 + 3x/5)

= walking = x - {(15x + 24x)/40}

= walking = x - 39x/40

= walking = (40x - 39x)/40 = x/40

But given that he walks 2 km

=>> x/40 = 2

= x = 2 × 40 = 80

So, total distance covered by him = 80km

By bus = 3x/5

= By bus = 80 × 3/5 = 16 × 3 = 48 km
