A man travels 600 km partly by train and partly by car. It can make 8 hours and 40 minutes if he travels 320 km by train and the rest by car. It would take 30 minutes more if he travels 200 km by train and the rest by car. Find the speed of the train and car separately.

speed of train = distance travelled by train/time taken in travelling that distance
⇒speed of train= 320 x 1000÷31200 = 10.256m
Speed of car = 280 x 1000÷1800 = 155.55m
