 \underline {\pink { Displacement }}

Displacement is change in position of an object.

•(H)------------•A(10km)------------•O(20km)

H is initial position of a man (Home).

O - Office

Distance from home to Office = HO = 20 km.

He started from home to the office and then travelled towards back to home 10 km .

Therefore.,

Displacement of the man = HA = 10 km

( Distance from initial point to ending point )
