A man travels for 1 and a half hours at a speed of 14km/hr and then for half an hour at a speed of 16km/hr. The total distance travelled by the man is?

Let the total distance be 2x km.

Then,

Time taken =6x+3x=63x=2xhours

∴Average speed=time takenTotal distance=2x2xkm/hr
