hiii,

distance = speed x time
so distance of the man's trip = 50 mph x 6 = 300 miles
hence the total distance for the whole trip = 300 x 2 = 600 miles

speed = distance /time
total time taken = 7.5h + 6h = 13.5h
therefore average speed = 600/13.5 = 44.4mph

hope helps

Distance = 6 × 50 = 300 miles
Total distance adding round trip = 600 miles

Total time taken = 6 + 7 whole 1/2 =
13 whole 1/2 = 27/2 hrs

Average speed = Total distance / Total time taken

=> S = 600 ÷ 27/2
=> S = 600 × 2/27
=> S = 400/9
=> S = 44.44 OR 44 whole 4/9 miles/hr

ANSWER = 44.4 km/hr

HOPE IT HELPS :):):):):)::)
