Given:

Total time taken by the man to travel from Jaipur to Agra = 4 hours

Speed of the man during first hour = 50 km/hr

Speed of the man during second hour= 65 km/hr

Speed of the man during third hour= 80 km/hr

Speed of the man during fourth hour= 55 km/hr

To find:

Average speed of the man.

Solution:

Average speed = total distance/ total time taken

Distance covered in first hour = speed* time = 50 km/hr * 1 hr= 50 km

Similarly Distance covered in second hour = 65*1 = 65 km

Distance covered in third hour = 80*1 = 80 km

Distance covered in first hour = 55*1 = 55 km

Total distance covered= 50+ 65+ 80+ 55 = 250 km

Average Speed = 250/4 = 62.5 km/hr

The average speed of man is 62.5 km/hr.
