avg speed for this question is 51.42km/h
formula of avg speed is 3(V1.V2) / 2V1 + V2.
where V 1 equals to 40 and V2 equals to 60.

ashish771: suppose x = distance
ashish771: v= velocity
ashish771: now
ashish771: avg speed= x whole upon x/3V1 + 2x/3V2
ashish771: if you slove that you will get 3V1V2 upon 2V1 +V2
ashish771: V1 = 40 and V2 = 60 place the value and you will get the answer
zoya2801: thank you so much
ashish771: it's ok
ashish771: In which class you are
ashish771: I m in 11th
