savings 28% of 100= 28
expenditure 100-28= 72
expenditure increased by 25/2% ( 12.5%)
so 72+ 12.5% of 72= 81 new expenditure
new savings 25%
so exp+sav=inc
81+25%inc=inc
by solving equation we get
inc=108
so increase is 8%
