A man uses 5/9 of his land for growing mangoes 2/5 for growing bananas remaining 24 hectares for growing oranges
(1) How much land does he have?
(2)How much land does he use for growing mangoes?

1)let he has x hectares land
the land use for growing bananas=(1-(5/9+2/5))x=24 hectares
(1-43/45)x=24
2/45 x=24
x=24×45/2
x=12×45
=540 hectares Ans
2) the land use for growing mangoes =5/9×540
=5×60=300 hectares Ans
