A man uses 5/9 of his land for growing mangoes 2/5 for growing bananas remaining 24 hectares for growing oranges
(1) How much land does he have?
(2)How much land does he use for growing mangoes?

let be area of field is 'x' then use in growing of mangos field area is 5x/9and the area of bananas is 2x/5 and left field I.e. orange is 24. now, area of mangos +area of bananas +area of orange = total area of field. so, 5x/9 +2x/5 +24=x, then silver the eq the value of x is 540h. the field use in mangos is 5x/9= 300 h.
