Answer:

i.  2 m/sec

ii. 2000m

iii. 2m/sec

Explanation:

Given:

time = 3250 sec

distance = 0.5*13*10³ = 6.5*10³ = 6500m

To Find:

a. average speed = ?

b. magnitude of the displacement = ?

c.  magnitude of the average velocity = ?

Solution:

a. speed = distance/time

    speed = 6500/3250

     speed = 2 m/sec

b. displacement is the shortest route

    displacement = 0.5*4*10³

    displacement = 2000m

magnitude of the displacement  = 2000m

c. The magnitude of the average velocity of an object is equal to its average speed

therefore,

magnitude of the average velocity = 2m/sec
