a man walks 3 km north and then 4 km east find how far is he now from the starting position

5km...since the angle between both directions will be 90 degree...then by using Pythagoras theoram...u can get that

By Pythagoras theorem, we know that

AC^2 = AB^2 + BC^2

          = 4^2 + 3^2

          = 16 + 9

         = 25

AC = 5.

He has traveled 5km from the starting position.
