A man walks 6 km in 1 hour at constant speed. Find the distance covered by him in 20 minutes at the same speed?

Answer:speed(v( =distance(d)/timetaken(t)

Here,v=6Km/1hr

v=6000m/60min

v=100m/min (constant speed)

For twenty min

We have , d=vt

d=(100m/min) *20min

d=2000m

d=2km

Arrange it like this where to same values are given. Here two durations are given.

1 hour is greater than 20min so

20 = 2/6 of a hour

1 hour = 6km

2/6 hour = ?

Multiply 2/6 with 6 and divide with 1

2/6x6= 12/6 = 2/1 = 2 divided by 1 = 2
