a man weighing 50 kg lifts a weight of 30 kg to the top of building 10 M high. find the work done by him. (take g=9.8m/s^2).

Work done = force × displacement

= weight × height ( for vertically displaced body)

= mass of body on which force is applied × gravity × height

= 30 × 9.8 × 10

= 3000 J ( approx.)
