Pressure exerted on the ground. = 1500 N/m² or 1500 Pascal

Step-by-step explanation:

Pressure  = Force / Area

m = men weight = 60 kg

g = 10 m/s²  ( acceleration dua to gravity)

Force = mg  = 60 * 10 = 600 N

wooden plank 1 m long and 40 cm wide.

40 cm = 40/100 m

Area = 1 * (40/100) =  = 0.4 m²

Pressure = 600 / 0.4  = 1500 N/m²

pressure exerted on the ground. = 1500 N/m²  or 1500 Pascal
