Answer :

➥ The work done by the man = 72000 J

Given :

➤ Mass of a man (m) = 80 kg

➤ Mass of man carries weight (m) = 40 kg

➤ Distance of tower (s) = 60 m

➤ Acceleration due to gravity (a) = 10 m/s²

To Find :

➤ Work done by the man (w) = ?

Solution :

◈ Total mass = 80 + 40 = 120 kg

To find work done by the man first we need to find the force required by man then after we find work done by the man.

As we know that

→ Force = ma

→ Force = 120 × 10

Force = 1200 N

Now ,

We find work done by the man \:

As we know that

→ Work done = f × s

→ Work done = 1700 × 60

Work done = 72000 J

Hence, the work done by the man is 72000 J.
