Explanation:

mass = weight/ gravity

let g be 10m/s²

then mass= 880/10= 88kg

when we move from equator to the poles the gravity decrease hence he will feel light weight

Answer:

88 kg

Increase

Explanation:

At equator:  gravitation acceleration is 10 m/s².

∴ force(weight) = mg

    880 = m(10)

    880/10 = 88 = m(mass)

Mass of the man is 88 kg.

At the poles: distance from the centre of earth is lesser than that from equator. As g is inversely proportional to the distance, and distance is decreased, it must increase.
