F = weight

m = mass of body

M = mass of earth

R = radius of earth

G = universal constant of gravitation

On the surface of the earth:

F1 = GMm/R2

One earth radius above the surface of the earth:

F2 = GMm/(2R)2 = F1/4

He will weigh

(440 N)/4 = 110 N.

Answer:

44 kg

Explanation:

weight = mg

440 N = m x 10 [Take g=10 m/s2]

44 = m

so weight is 44 kg.
