a man weights 600N on the earth what is his mass(take g=10m/s) if he was taken to the moonhis weight would be 100N. what is his mass on the moon. what is the acceleration due to gravity on the moon.

Since, W = mg
As, acceleration due to gravity (g) on earth  10 m/s2
So, 600 = m X 10
m = 60 kg

On moon weight of the man, W' = 100 N
Mass of the man will remain same on moon as that of the earth = 60 kg
Since, W' = m g'
where g' is the value of acceleration due to gravity on the moon
So, g' = W'/ m = 100/60 = 1.67 m/s2.
