A man weights 800 at the equator How does the
weight of man change at the following places
(a) at poles (b) 100 up in space
a)at the poles the weight of the man will be more than 800
b) 100m up in space the weight of the man will be less than 800
Explanation:
a)at the poles the gravity will be more than the gravity at the equator
so the mass is multiplied with the gravity
hence the weight of the man at the poles will be more than the weight of the man at the equator
hence the weight of the man which is 800 will be increaed at the poles than that of the weight of the man at equator
b)100 m up the space the weight of the man will be reduced due to the height the gravity pull will be reduced in the space.in other words the gravity in the space is very very less.so the weight of the man decreses at the 100m up the space
hence the weight of the man at equator which is 800 will be reduced at 100m up the space due to gravity variation
