He wanted to inflate his vehicle tyres with nitrogen gas for the following reasons -

• First of all, pure nitrogen gas in a non-combustible gas which is safe to use for vehicle tyres.
• Secondly, and most importantly, the nitrogen gas is able to produce more stable tyre pressure than the normal air inflated tyres.
• This stable pressure can increase the lifespan of the vehicle tyres and reduces the tyre maintenance costs, as compared to the air inflated tyres.
• The allover journey experience is enriched by the nitrogen filled tyres to some extent.
