Answer:2/3×d in bus.
1/3×d=2000 metres. (Given)
=> d=6000 metres.
So, the total distance travelled by the man=6000 metres or 6 km.
Explanation: 2/3 of the journey, he travel by bus. So, remaining 1/3 part of the journey is travelled by car and partly on foot which is 2km. If 1/3rd of the journey has a stretch of 2km then total distance has to be 6km. Of which 2/3 part which is equal to 4km is travelled on bus, and remaining 2km by car and by walking.
